Kalabhavan Mani comes as a superstar named Soorya Kiran in Sanjeev Raj’s latest film, Film Star. Dileep plays a common man in the film, who writes a script based on a grave social issue that happens in his village.
Scripted by S.Suresh Babu, the shooting of Film Star is going on at various locations at Kochi and Thodupuzha. The film is being directed by Sanjeev Raj, who has earlier done the Kunchako Boban film, Five Fingers.
Mani’s character, Soorya Kiran, is a superstar in Tamil and Telugu films. Rambha plays a cameo, as a super heroine. Muktha, the other heroine, plays Dileep’s sister.
