She didn’t have a great beginning in Malayalam, with her maiden venture Maya Bazaar failing to make an impact at the box office. Now, Telugu star Sheela has pinned all her hopes on the latest Prithviraj starrer, Thanthonni. The film is coming out on Mar 18 and has been directed by debutant George Varghese.

Prithviraj plays a brat, who is kind of a reckless youth, hailing from a rich household. Sheela is playing a junior scientist at ISRO, who is completely in awe of Kochu Kunju. She is quite a tomboy herself and is a smart gal.

Director George Varghese says that they were looking for a heorine who is beautiful and looks convincing as a bubbly girl and Sheela fitted the bill perfectly. Hope things work in her favour this time!
